Sign me up- I'm in! This little gem has both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is on a nice deck covered by a light parachute, so it's shaded. The food is wonderful. The fluffy (mile-high) buttermilk biscuits my friend had were fabulous. The omelets are perfectly cooked, with the right amount of cheeses and stuffing. The hash browns are actually browned (gasp!). The menu even says that they don't serve "hash whites"- I thought I was the only person who used that term. I live about 2 hours from Chuck's, and eat there every time I go camping up in the Strawberry Mtns. The service is great and the place is clean and tidy. Good job, Chuck's!

This cozy spot, with the original lunch counter from the early 1900s, is right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. We had a great country breakfast and the owners were very welcoming.

This place is delightful. The food is wonderful. The service is wonderful. If you go in the morning for breakfast there's usually a crowd of locals there which seems like a good sign to me. I've been twice and both times I enjoyed the whole experience immensely. So far, I know they make a great steak dip and onion rings, and a great chicken fried steak with country gravy.

Best ever mushroom, bacon, swiss omelet! My man enjoyed the homemade biscuits and gravy. Great coffee too and top notch service. A real gem!

Great place to eat! Friendly service! Some people are just grumpy and rude. You might find them in the customers, but not the wait staff or cook! Even if your meal takes 35 minutes to reach your table. Consider there's one cook and one server. Look around, great pictures on the wall! So eat here and enjoy! !

Horrible place!!! Doesn't even deserve one star. The food may be OK, don't know because it's been 35 minutes since we ordered and we haven't seen anything, but the service and the server's attitude stinks. Asked for a drink when we first ordered our meal but after 35 minutes still haven't received it. Bottom line-no matter how "cute" the place is or how good the food is, the server and the service is atrocious. Stay away. There are plenty of other places to eat in Prairie City.
